Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

As a Kubernetes SME on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and Cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience in modern, Cloud-native software development. 

Required Qualifications:

·       8+ years of experience with managing and leading teams 

·       6+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services

·       5+ years of experience with implementing Kubernetes environments 

·       3+ years of experience with DevOps methods and practices Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or Cloud formation 

·       Experience with Configuration as Code, including AWS SSM, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash

·       DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification

·       Secret clearance

Formal Education:

·       Bachelor’s degree

Desired Skills:

·       Experience with Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID 

·       Experience with Advanced Networking design and troubleshooting, including DNS, Routing, or Subnetting

·       Knowledge of Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server 

·       Knowledge of Active Directory and GPO 

·       Bachelor’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering 

·       TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph 

·       AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Certification 

·       AWS Certified Developer – Associate Certification
