Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Our team develops DE systems for the Navy and in support of other Services. That’s why we need you, a HPRF engineer, with a background in RF, High Voltage, and other DE technologies, to help us design and develop next generation systems. You’ll be involved in all aspects of product and system development life cycles from conception to delivery to an end-user. You’ll make a direct impact by leading engineering initiatives that will add alternative options to warfighters means to dress real-world missions. We’ll look to you to share your engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in laboratory and field testing, including establishing test goals, developing test methodologies, organizing and conducting tests, reducing test data, and analyzing results
- 5+ years of experience with HPM and HPRF source testing and evaluation
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, testing, and analyzing high-powered, pulsed power-driven microwave systems
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, fabricating, and testing electronic printed circuit boards
- Experience with digital and analog control systems, power electronics, EMI mitigation techniques, transformer design, DC to DC converters, and high voltage capacitors
- Experience in RF and microwave signal generation and test equipment, vacuum devices, tubes, radars and high-power RF systems, and digital signal processing
- Knowledge of the Naval surface Fleet and missions, including with Naval experimental research programs
- Ability to work both independently with little direction and in highly collaborative environments, including with colleagues, stakeholders, warfighters, sponsors, and other government personnel
- Secret clearance

- Bachelor’s degree

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering related to program development, modeling, or simulation
- Master’s degree
